Nourishing Our Community: A Partnership with Harvest Manitoba
At The Salvation Army Living Hope Community Church, we are committed to ensuring no one in our community goes hungry. That's why we proudly partner with Harvest Manitoba to serve as a vital food distribution point, providing essential food support to individuals and families right here in Winnipeg.
This collaboration allows us to extend a compassionate hand, offering nutritious food hampers to those facing food insecurity. We believe in providing tangible hope and practical assistance, and our partnership with Harvest Manitoba is a cornerstone of that mission.
To access food support through our location, or any Harvest Manitoba partner, pre-registration is required directly through the Harvest Manitoba website. They will guide you through the simple sign-up process and help you determine the best pick-up location for your needs. We are here to help welcome you to our distribution site once your registration is complete!
Farm
A program of food recovery that helps prevent food waste. Food is received from various commercial businesses which is then shared within the community. Everyone is welcome.
Senior hours are Wednesday from 1 PM. to 1:30 PM.
